To tell you that I do understand being in the dark and alone. To frustrate yourself and cancel out your plans with the slightest flick of storm’s light. I have been there! When the outside is too harsh so you end up locking yourself in trying to build that energy so that, maybe…. When you open up, you’ll be heard.
There are days when they actually see your sparkle, enchanting even those who know less of flowers. They touch and gaze too hard that your splendor is gone before time. And before you actually know, they cannot look at you or touch you again, for you hold grandness no more. You droop, your wilting is so pronounced that they opt to cut you off.
Oh days! When you think, “I have courage to get out.” Only for you to realize, you are late! And there’s no one around actually and there be, they don’t like flowers. No matter how hard you stand out, nobody really cares. And hopes of a stealing glance is world’s away because the heat is too much the sun shining like it was revenging your good days, you have to go. I am here for you.
I am here because there are days when it’s perfect. Days when being late favors you the most. Good weather, nice people, the warm sun melting your soul in happiness and the wind’s free spirit. There are days when people want to take pictures of you, days when they admire you. Days when they end up drawing you in their journals. Days when there are poems about you! Days when you are valid. Days when they understand.
You deserve moments like these every single day of your life because you are worth them! But hey there’s no fair match out here and even if, you need to experience all these episodes to know growth and self-awareness. So whether you find yourself late, unwanted, wanted, flowered and blooming, it’s going to be just fine. Fight through the day as hard as you can, It must not be a win so embrace the losses too.
